New face, same money chores
Forward Industries just swapped in a new finance chief: Mark Brazier is now CFO, effective April 13, 2026. He’s replacing Kathleen Weisberg, who isn’t leaving the building entirely — she’ll stick around as Director of Financial Reporting.
Why you should care
This isn’t just a corporate game of musical chairs. Forward says Brazier will oversee financial operations, capital structure, reporting, and capital markets activities, which is a fancy way of saying he’ll help keep the balance sheet tidy while the company chases growth.
And because Forward is calling itself the world’s largest publicly traded Solana treasury company, the CFO seat probably isn’t a quiet desk job. That role can end up looking a lot like part accountant, part capital-markets quarterback, part crypto translator.
The resume check
Brazier most recently served as CFO and Head of Regulatory at XBTO Global, where he handled global financial operations and compliance across trading, asset management, custody, and tokenization. Translation: he’s got plenty of experience in the digital-asset jungle.
Big picture: A CFO change isn’t always stock-moving fireworks, but when a company is trying to sell investors on a very specific treasury strategy, the person running finance can matter a lot more than usual.
