The ETH hoard keeps getting bigger
Bitmine Immersion Technologies is back with another update on its digital treasure chest, and it’s not exactly subtle. The company said it now owns 4.875 million ETH and roughly $11.8 billion in total crypto, cash, and so-called “moonshots.” That includes $719 million in cash and other crypto positions, plus an $85 million stake in Eightco.
Why this matters
If you’ve been following Bitmine, you know the company has basically become a public-market wrapper around a very aggressive crypto accumulation strategy. Crossing the 4% mark of Ethereum’s supply is a pretty loud signal: Bitmine is not dabbling, it’s building a massive balance-sheet bet on ETH.
The NYSE glow-up
The company also said it uplisted to the NYSE from NYSE American on April 9, which gives the stock a shinier stage while it keeps leaning into the same high-conviction crypto thesis. Translation: more prestige, same volatility buffet.
Big picture
For investors, this is less about a sleepy corporate update and more about exposure. Bitmine is telling the market, in neon letters, that its value is tied to the price of ETH and the market’s willingness to keep rewarding giant crypto treasury plays. If ETH rips, this thing can look genius. If not, well, treasury management starts to feel a lot more like a stress test.
