CEO out, chairman in
Windar Photonics is doing a little boardroom shuffle: CEO Jørgen Korsgaard Jensen is stepping down immediately, and Non-Executive Chairman David Lis is taking over as interim executive chairman while the company hunts for a permanent replacement.
Not just a game of musical chairs
This isn’t a full-court-press panic move, at least not on paper. The company says its trading position is unchanged, and it’s still optimistic about the growth runway into 2026 thanks to a beefed-up sales team, more manufacturing capacity, and new test project orders in North America and Germany.
CFO gets promoted, too
Søren Belmar, the CFO, is also taking on COO duties on a permanent basis. That usually signals a company trying to tighten execution and keep the machine humming while the leadership search plays out.
Why investors care
CEO changes can be either a clean refresh or the opening scene of a drama nobody asked for. The stock will likely hinge on whether this looks like a controlled transition with momentum underneath it — or the start of a longer rebuild.
Big picture: Windar says the growth story is still intact. Now it has to prove that story doesn’t wobble just because the cast changed.
