A little trim, not a haircut
Natural Investments LLC cut its TSMC stake by 10.1%, selling 2,445 shares and leaving it with 21,694 shares worth about $6.59 million. That makes TSMC 1.6% of the portfolio and the fund’s 11th-largest holding — so this looks more like a rebalancing move than a dramatic “we’re out” moment.
Why you probably shouldn’t overread it
When a fund trims a position, the headline can sound scarier than it really is. Sometimes it’s just portfolio math, tax planning, or a quick reset after a stock runs hard. And TSMC has been doing plenty of running: the chipmaker is still sitting near $370 a share with a roughly $1.91 trillion market cap.
The bigger TSMC story is still the AI boom
The real investor storyline here is unchanged. TSMC reported $3.11 in EPS on $30.65 billion in revenue, and analysts are still hanging a “Buy” sign on the stock with an average target of $391.43. Translation: the Street still thinks the AI/data-center gravy train has more stops left.
Big picture
A small institutional trim is fine wallpaper, but it’s not the mural. For TSMC, the market still seems far more interested in whether AI demand keeps cranking than in one fund nudging its portfolio around.
