The balance sheet is doing the heavy lifting
Hyperscale Data dropped an update saying its cash, restricted cash, and bitcoin together represent about 143.96% of its current market cap. That’s the kind of math that makes value investors sit up and crypto skeptics squint.
Why this matters
The headline number here is the company’s 644.7581 bitcoin stash. That makes the stock less about yesterday’s share-price mood swings and more about whether the market is properly valuing the assets sitting on the books.
The plot twist: the corporate structure is still in motion
The company also said it expects the divestiture of ACG in Q2 2027. After that, Hyperscale Data says it would be focused on owning and operating data centers for high-performance computing, while still holding digital assets.
Until then, the business is still wearing a few different hats:
- AI software
- social gaming
- equipment rental
- defense/aerospace
- industrial and automotive
- medical/biopharma
- hotel operations
- private credit and structured finance
That’s not a business model so much as a crowded group chat.
Big picture
For investors, the immediate question is whether the market is undervaluing the asset base or just pricing in a lot of moving parts, future divestitures, and general corporate chaos. Either way, the bitcoin treasury is now a core part of the story, not a side note.
