More money, more AI, more ambition
Gorilla Technology is putting more chips on the table with Astrikos.AI, a Bengaluru-based infrastructure intelligence company. The new investment builds on Gorilla’s first stake, announced in December 2025, and is meant to plug Astrikos’ real-time monitoring tech into Gorilla’s broader AI infrastructure stack.
Why this matters
Think of it like Gorilla trying to turn itself from a toolkit into a full-blown control room. The company says Astrikos’ tech will feed into its video intelligence, smart city architecture, and GPU-enabled data center offerings — basically the kind of stuff cities and enterprises pay up for when they want their infrastructure to feel less “spreadsheet chaos” and more “mission control.”
A board seat cameo
As part of the deal, Gorilla nominated Deborah Hudson, Senior Advisor to the CEO and incoming Managing Partner of Gorilla Tech Capital, to serve as a Non-Executive Director on Astrikos’ board, pending approval. That’s usually the kind of move that signals this isn’t a casual strategic handshake; Gorilla wants a front-row seat as the relationship deepens.
Big picture
This isn’t the kind of headline that screams overnight blockbuster, but it does show Gorilla keeping its foot on the gas after a stronger revenue run. If the company can keep turning these AI-and-infrastructure bets into actual product lift, investors may start treating it less like a speculative story and more like a business with a plan that keeps getting more concrete.
