Another nibble at the table
Steel Connect Sub LLC, a subsidiary of Steel Connect LLC, spent the last few trading days adding to its Spruce Power position instead of heading for the exits. It bought 9,702 shares in three separate trades between April 10 and April 14, paying about $4.00 to $4.05 a share.
Why you should care
This isn’t a blockbuster merger or a surprise earnings bomb, but it is a real-money vote of confidence. When a holder keeps buying, it can signal conviction — or at least a willingness to keep betting that the stock isn’t done yet.
The receipts
- April 10: 1,700 shares at $4.00
- April 13: 2,975 shares at $4.00
- April 14: 5,027 shares at $4.05
Put together, that’s $39,059 in fresh buying and a slightly bigger stake in Spruce Power. Not exactly billionaire-whale territory, but enough to make investors squint and ask, "What does Steel Connect know that I don’t?"
Big picture: tiny trades can still matter when they show up as a pattern, especially in smaller names where sentiment can move fast.
