Deal closed, ladder extended
Larsen & Toubro has officially finished its ₹1,123 crore acquisition of International Green Scapes Limited through subsidiary L&T Realty Properties Limited. In plain English: the company didn’t just shop for real estate — it brought the whole store home.
What changed?
The target was acquired in a cash transaction for 100% ownership, with L&T RPL picking up 58,23,425 equity shares. As of April 13, 2026, International Green Scapes became a wholly owned subsidiary of both L&T RPL and Larsen & Toubro.
Why investors should care
This is the kind of move that tells you where management wants to lean next. Real estate assets can be a long game, but they also tie up capital and can reshape the company’s growth mix. The fact that the transaction closed ahead of the originally expected April 15 timeline is a nice little operational flex.
Big picture: L&T is still acting like a company that wants more than just its old-school engineering identity. It’s building optionality, brick by brick.
