More Astrikos, please
Gorilla Technology Group is back for another bite of the Astrikos.AI apple. The company said Tuesday it increased its strategic investment in the Bengaluru-based infrastructure intelligence outfit, building on an initial stake it announced back in December 2025.
Why this matters
This isn’t just a random startup fling. Gorilla says Astrikos’ real-time infrastructure monitoring tools will be folded into its AI infrastructure platform, which already includes video intelligence, smart city architecture, and GPU-enabled data center offerings. Translation: Gorilla is trying to turn itself into a more complete AI infrastructure play instead of a one-trick software pony.
Investors should care because...
Strategic investments can be a sneaky way to signal where management thinks the next growth engine lives. If Gorilla can actually blend Astrikos’ tech into its platform, that could strengthen its pitch to cities, enterprises, and data center customers who want more than just shiny AI buzzwords.
The timing also matters. Gorilla says revenue grew 36% over the last twelve months to $101 million, so the company is clearly trying to ride that momentum and widen its addressable market while the AI arms race is still handing out free steroids.
Big picture: Gorilla’s not buying a moonshot; it’s stacking blocks. And in AI infrastructure, sometimes the company that assembles the nicest Lego set gets the best seat at the table.
