Earth Day, but make it a sales pitch
Blink Charging is rolling out a little Earth Day wink-and-nudge marketing at Comfort Suites Lake City in Florida. Starting April 22, 2026, drivers can snag two hours of free EV charging, and Blink is layering on a week-long charging credit promotion to keep the plug-ins flowing.
Why this matters
This isn’t a blockbuster contract or a giant fleet deal. It’s more like Blink setting up a booth at the school fair: small, but useful. Promotions like this can boost charger utilization, put the brand in front of EV drivers, and make the network feel a little less like dead hardware parked in a hotel lot.
The investor angle
For Blink, the real game is getting people to actually use the chargers it installs. More usage can mean better economics over time, and hotel locations are especially handy because travelers are already stopping, sleeping, and waiting for their batteries — and their coffee — to recharge.
Big picture
This is the kind of incremental, on-the-ground partnership that doesn’t move the world by itself. But for an EV charging company, lots of tiny wins can add up to one much bigger message: the network is alive, visible, and trying to become part of your travel routine.
