The quantum gap keeps getting wider
Infleqtion is taking a breather after a monster rally, but Citron Research clearly thinks the market is still underestimating the name. Andrew Left’s shop said Nvidia picked Infleqtion for two roles — calibration and decoding — while the stock still trades at roughly half the market cap of Rigetti, which didn’t make the cut.
Why Wall Street suddenly cares about quantum vibes
This isn’t just about one fancy partnership headline. Citron is basically arguing that Nvidia’s stamp of approval is the closest thing quantum stocks have to a popularity contest at the club door. If Jensen Huang is saying AI is the “operating system of quantum machines,” then the companies Nvidia is actually choosing get to wear the cool-kid jacket.
The balance sheet flex is doing a lot of work
Citron also leaned on the numbers under the hood: Infleqtion says it has $550 million in cash, zero debt, and 100% organic growth in 2025. That’s a very different setup from the usual pre-revenue science project energy, and it helps explain why bulls are acting like this is more than just another quantum mood swing.
Big picture
For investors, the key question is whether this is a real rerating story or just another quantum-stock sugar rush. But when Nvidia, Citron, and a 67% rally all show up in the same week, you’re probably not looking at background noise.
