New face, same big ambition
Arrive AI just added some telecom muscle to the board. Michael Fitz, who runs solutions and indirect channels at T-Mobile for Business, has joined the company’s board of directors.
Why this matters
On paper, this looks like classic “bring in a seasoned operator” stuff. But for a small company trying to scale an autonomous delivery network, board picks can hint at where management thinks the pain points are: partnerships, distribution, enterprise sales, and making the product sound less sci-fi and more buyable.
The subtext investors care about
Fitz brings more than 30 years of experience in telecommunications and enterprise tech, which could help Arrive AI sharpen its pitch as it tries to expand market adoption. That doesn’t magically create revenue, of course — a board seat is not a sales contract — but it can strengthen credibility with potential customers and partners.
Big picture
For a company like Arrive AI, the real game is turning a slick concept into repeatable business. Adding a T-Mobile veteran suggests it’s still in the “build the bench” phase, but at least now the bench has some telecom swagger.
