Earth Day, but make it a marketing cameo
Blink Charging is back with another Earth Day appearance, this time in Lafayette, Colorado, alongside VASA Fitness and Kempower. The setup sounds less like a Wall Street catalyst and more like a community-facing promo — which, honestly, is kind of the point.
Why investors should care
For Blink, these kinds of tie-ins are about visibility. EV charging is a crowded lane, and when you’re trying to win mindshare, showing up at local events can be a cheap way to stay in the conversation. It won’t move the financial model on its own, but it does keep the brand out there in front of drivers, fitness-goers, and anyone else who might become a future charger user.
The bigger picture
The collaboration also fits the broader EV charging playbook: partner with recognizable consumer names, wrap the message in sustainability, and hope the traffic converts into usage later. Not exactly moon-landing stuff, but in a sector where adoption still needs hand-holding, these little public-facing moments matter.
Big picture: this is more signal than substance, but for a company like Blink, signal is still part of the game.
