New deal, same mission
Intapp is widening its partnership with DCM Insights, stitching Activator and Intapp Celeste together so business development teams can move a little less like a spreadsheet and a little more like a machine.
Why this matters
The pitch is simple: use AI agents to help professional and financial services firms find opportunities, organize outreach, and generally stop wasting time on the boring parts of winning business. If it works, that’s the kind of feature upgrade that can make software stickier — and stickier software tends to be happier software for investors.
The investor angle
This isn’t a giant revenue-acquisition headline or a blockbuster contract. But it does show Intapp leaning harder into AI as a product differentiator, which is basically the corporate equivalent of putting a turbocharger on a minivan and hoping nobody notices it’s still a minivan.
Big picture: partnerships like this don’t usually move a stock on their own, but they can strengthen the narrative that Intapp is building a more defensible platform, not just shipping more buttons.
