Another app walks into the data cloud
Snowflake says o9 Solutions is building an integration on top of its Connected Application framework, linking the o9 Digital Brain platform with Snowflake’s AI Data Cloud. In plain English: the two companies want enterprise data to move more smoothly from storage to planning to decision-making, without making customers stitch everything together like a DIY IKEA shelf.
Why this matters
This isn’t a flashy blockbuster deal, but it is the kind of partnership that makes Snowflake look more embedded in the enterprise stack. If joint customers can use governed data more easily inside planning workflows, that can make Snowflake stickier — and stickiness is the secret sauce in enterprise software.
The investor angle
Partnerships like this matter because they can:
- make Snowflake’s platform harder to rip out
- support more usage from existing customers
- keep Snowflake in the conversation as companies try to build AI into everyday workflows
It’s not the kind of announcement that sends traders reaching for the confetti cannon. But in cloud software, the boring stuff often compounds quietly in the background.
Big picture: Snowflake keeps trying to be more than a warehouse. The company wants to be the place where your data not only lives, but actually does something useful.
