A new helper for ad attribution
Hightouch is rolling out Exposure Log Matching for The Trade Desk, and the pitch is simple: take The Trade Desk's Raw Event Data Stream logs and resolve them against a brand's own customer and household IDs. In other words, less messy data swamp, more “here’s what actually worked.”
Why investors should care
For The Trade Desk, this is the kind of feature that can quietly make the platform harder to leave. If advertisers can land cleaner measurement data in their own warehouse for reporting and AI analysis, that can make the ad platform feel a lot more like a must-have operating system and a lot less like a nice-to-have dashboard.
And in ad tech, that distinction matters. Better attribution can lead to better budget decisions, which can lead to more spend flowing through the platform. Not exactly fireworks, but very much the kind of plumbing upgrade Wall Street likes to see when it’s squinting at growth durability.
Big picture
This is a partnership-style announcement, not a giant earnings bombshell. But it does nudge The Trade Desk's ecosystem story in the right direction: more useful data, better measurement, and a little more glue holding advertisers to the platform.
