New deal, same old AI gold rush
Snowflake showed up to its own summit with a fresh trophy: Sanofi is building a new AI agent, called Concierge for Field, on top of Snowflake Cortex AI. The idea is pretty simple — help Sanofi’s global sales reps walk into doctor and provider meetings with better prep, faster answers, and less tab-juggling chaos.
Why this matters
This is the kind of enterprise AI story investors keep sniffing around for. Not a flashy chatbot demo. Not a “look what the model can say” party trick. More like: here’s a real workflow, a real pharma giant, and a real reason to keep paying for the cloud stack.
For Snowflake, deals like this do two things:
- They make the AI story feel less like marketing confetti and more like actual adoption
- They give the company another logo to point at when proving it can sit at the center of enterprise data and AI workflows
The investor angle
Snowflake has been trying to show that its platform can be the place where companies don’t just store data — they actually do stuff with it. If Sanofi rolls this out broadly, that’s another notch in Snowflake’s “we’re in the workflow” belt.
Big picture: in AI, everyone is claiming to be the shovels. Snowflake wants to be the shovel, the dirt, and the guy selling you a nicer bucket.
