Why the grid matters more than the glam
The company says the site sits about 78 miles northeast of Adelaide and will tap high-voltage transmission infrastructure plus submarine fiber links into regional demand centers like Singapore, Indonesia, South Korea, and Japan. Translation: this isn't just a warehouse full of servers in the middle of nowhere. It's trying to be a connected, power-hungry AI hub with actual international reach.
