Burke Hollow is finally online
Uranium Energy Corp says production has started at Burke Hollow, which it calls America’s largest greenfield ISR uranium project to come online in more than a decade. That’s not just a shiny press-release trophy — it means UEC is adding another real source of supply instead of just talking about future optionality.
The numbers are doing the heavy lifting
During fiscal Q3 2026, the company produced 32,195 pounds of uranium concentrate. The cost stack is the part investors will squint at: total cost per pound came in at $54.61, while cash cost per pound was $46.69. In other words, UEC is trying to prove it can make money in a business where the market loves to test your nerves.
Why shareholders are paying attention
UEC says it now operates two of its three U.S. hub-and-spoke ISR production platforms, backed by what it describes as the largest uranium resource base in the country. Add in $794 million of liquid assets and no debt, and you get a company trying to look less like a speculative sci-fi bet and more like an actual fuel-supply business.
Big picture
If uranium bulls are right, UEC is positioning itself as a domestic supplier with scale, optionality, and enough balance-sheet padding to keep the lights on while the nuclear story keeps building. If you own the stock, this is the kind of update you want: more production, more infrastructure, fewer hand-wavy promises.
