Another brick in the Microsoft 365 wall
Microsoft is adding yet another piece to its sprawling cloud-and-AI ecosystem. Pax8 says it will launch a relationship with inforcer in the Pax8 Marketplace, giving managed service providers a cleaner way to standardize and secure Microsoft 365 for SMB customers.
Why this matters
This isn’t some random logo swap. The pitch here is practical: make Microsoft 365 easier to deploy, govern, and lock down at scale, while also setting customers up for Copilot and other managed intelligence tools. In other words, the boring stuff that becomes very exciting when a security incident or a messy rollout hits your inbox.
The bigger Microsoft playbook
For Microsoft, deals like this matter because they keep widening the moat around its ecosystem. Every new partner that helps MSPs sell, manage, or secure Microsoft 365 makes the platform harder to leave and easier to expand inside small and mid-sized businesses.
And if you’re an investor, that’s the story: not just software subscriptions, but a growing web of services, partners, and AI workflows that makes Microsoft’s stack feel less like a product and more like the plumbing companies build their businesses on.
Big picture: Microsoft doesn’t just want your company using its tools — it wants those tools to become the default operating system for how work gets done.
