Another bite of the same apple
SoFi's CEO Anthony Noto just added another 13,888 shares on June 16 at about $18.06 a pop, which works out to roughly $250,800. That’s not a one-off flex — it’s the fifth open-market buy he’s made this year.
The pattern is the story
Noto has now spent about $2.25 million in 2026 across five separate purchases, including much bigger buys in March and a pair of dips in May. In total, he’s scooped up 130,211 shares this year at a blended average around $17.29.
Why investors care
Insider buying is one of those market signals people love to obsess over, like checking whether the cool kid at the table ordered the same thing as you. It doesn’t promise a rebound, but it does suggest management thinks the stock is cheap enough to keep accumulating.
SoFi shares were still trading below their 52-week highs, and the stock had been beaten up enough that Noto’s purchases look less like momentum-chasing and more like a long-term vote of confidence. Big picture: when the CEO keeps buying the dip five times in a row, the market usually at least pays attention.
