Sweden just got a bigger CoreWeave footprint
CoreWeave said it’s teaming up with Conapto on a co-location agreement that adds AI cloud capacity across two campuses in Stockholm. One site, Stockholm 4 South, is already online, and both campuses will run on renewable energy. Very on-brand for a cloud company trying to look both fast and responsible.
Why this matters
If you own CRWV, this is the kind of update that says, “Yes, the buildout continues.” CoreWeave’s whole pitch is basically: give AI builders the compute, don’t make them wait in line, and please don’t run out of room. More capacity in Sweden means more reach, more redundancy, and a little more proof that demand isn’t just a Silicon Valley thing.
The boring part that’s actually the point
Co-location deals aren’t flashy, but they’re the backstage crew of the AI boom. They help CoreWeave put servers where the power, cooling, and land already exist, which is a lot less glamorous than a launch event but way more useful if you’re trying to scale without melting the grid.
