Legacy meets software
Datavault AI says it’s teaming up with 21 In Right Inc., the Clemente family entity that manages Roberto Clemente’s name, image, and likeness, to put its data valuation and digital twin tools to work. Think of it as turning legacy management into a tech platform — part archive, part fan engagement engine, part “please let this actually generate revenue.”
What’s the deal?
Under the partnership, 21 In Right will use Datavault’s Data Vault®, DataValue®, DataScore®, and Information Data Exchange® tools to:
- manage and protect Roberto Clemente’s NIL rights
- preserve his legacy through digital twins and digital archives
- create new ways for fans and communities to interact with that legacy
Why investors might care
For Datavault, this is the kind of announcement that says, “We’re not just selling a concept deck.” The company is trying to show its data monetization and RWA-adjacent tech can be used in real-world, rights-heavy businesses. That matters if you’re watching for customer wins and repeatable use cases instead of one-off splashy press releases.
Big picture
This isn’t the kind of deal that moves markets by itself, but it does give DVLT another proof point that its platform can be plugged into branded IP and rights management. In other words: a potentially useful brick in the wall, not the whole house.
