CBTS just announced it has picked up Palo Alto Networks NextWave MSSP Advanced Specializations across three major security lanes: network security, cloud security, and security operations. In plain English? One more partner is now officially certified to sell, manage, and wrangle more of Palo Alto’s security stack for customers who’d rather outsource the cybersecurity babysitting.
Why investors should care
This isn’t a blockbuster revenue headline, but it does matter. Partner certifications can be a sneaky-good indicator that a platform is getting wider distribution and more operational trust in the market. The more services partners can deliver around PANW tools, the harder it gets for competitors to elbow in.
CBTS now says it holds seven Palo Alto Networks MSSP Advanced Specializations, including:
- Hardware Firewall
- Software Firewall
- Prisma SASE
- Cortex XDR
- Cortex XSOAR
- Cortex XSIAM
That’s a nice little shelf of credentials — and a reminder that in cybersecurity, the ecosystem matters almost as much as the software itself.

For Palo Alto, this reads like incremental channel momentum, not a fireworks show. But in a market where buyers want bundled, managed, and “please just make this whole thing work” security solutions, more partner depth can translate into stickier relationships and steadier product adoption.
