Another Helios win
AMD keeps trying to turn Helios into the AI-infrastructure equivalent of a flashy new sports car — except the selling point here is not speed alone, it’s how well it handles the heat. Alignment Engine said it will bring AMD Helios rackscale infrastructure, powered by Instinct MI455X GPUs, to its Ohio data center starting in 2027.
Why investors should care

AMD has been leaning hard into the idea that the next wave of AI buildouts won’t be won only by raw compute — it’ll also be won by who can make the whole thing less of a power hog.
