Microchip Technology, the maker of smart, connected, and secure embedded control solutions, says it has agreed to acquire Hailo. Hailo builds accelerated edge AI processors, vision processing chips, robotics processors, and related software — basically the kind of hardware that helps devices think a little faster without sending everything back to the cloud.
