New reporting lines, less corporate spaghetti
Conagra Brands is giving its org chart a little spring cleaning — in July, because apparently reorganizing the pantry also means reorganizing the executive suite. Business unit leaders Noelle O'Mara and Jill Dexter will now report directly to CEO John Brase, while Burke Raine is stepping into the newly named chief growth officer role.
The bigger signal
The headline here isn’t just titles. It’s structure. Conagra says the changes are meant to streamline the company, which usually translates to some combination of: fewer layers, faster decisions, and a leadership team that wants the market to know it’s not standing still.
Tom McGough’s exit matters
The most important detail for investors is Tom McGough’s retirement, effective September 2026, after nearly two decades with the company. When a long-tenured COO heads for the door, it can mean succession planning, strategic cleanup, or simply that the company is resetting after a rough stretch.
Big picture: this doesn’t change the snack aisle overnight, but it does tell you Conagra is trying to make itself easier to run — and maybe a little easier to grow.
