Palladyne AI is back in the mix with a new collaboration, this time linking up with NORDA Dynamics to combine SwarmOS with NORDA’s Underdog Autonomy Module. Translation: Palladyne wants its software to help unmanned systems spot, sort, and track targets, while NORDA’s tech handles the nasty final stretch — even when comms get jammed.
Why investors care
This is the kind of partnership that can make a small defense-tech name feel a lot bigger than its market cap. If the integration works and gets the necessary approvals, the companies plan to demo the combined system on one or more unmanned platforms. That matters because defense buyers love anything that sounds like: distributed, resilient, autonomous, and hard to jam.
The buzzword buffet
