DLRZurich wants more digital muscle
Digital Realty isn’t exactly building a cute little shed here. The company says it’s starting construction on ZUR4, a new state-of-the-art data center in Glattbrugg, Switzerland, with 15 MW of IT capacity across about 6,300 square meters.
Why this matters
For a data-center landlord, breaking ground is the business version of “coming soon.” It signals future capacity, future customer bookings, and future rent checks. And Switzerland — especially the Zurich area — isn’t random pin-the-tail-on-the-map stuff. It’s a juicy mix of finance, enterprise demand, and cloud infrastructure needs.
