From story stock to execution story
Ondas just turned in a Q2 that looks less like a normal quarter and more like a plot twist. Revenue climbed nearly 13-fold to $83.8 million, and organic growth still clocked in at a wild 85% on a pro forma basis. That’s the kind of print that makes you stop doomscrolling for a second.
The backlog is doing the heavy lifting
The real number to watch here isn’t just revenue — it’s the backlog. Pro forma backlog hit $757 million, helped by $175 million in Q2 orders and another $105 million rolling into Q3. In plain English: the company has a lot more work lined up than it did a few months ago, which is exactly what bulls want to hear.
But the finish line is still a sprint
Here’s the catch: to get to the $537.5 million guidance midpoint, Ondas needs about $256 million of Q4 revenue. That implies roughly 74% sequential growth, which is less a gentle ramp and more a turbocharged leap. So yes, the setup looks better — but now the company has to actually execute, not just talk a good game.
Big picture
This is the classic “show me” phase. Ondas has plenty of momentum, a fat backlog, and strong order flow — but the stock’s next leg will likely depend on whether management can convert that paper demand into real, repeatable revenue without tripping over its own shoelaces.
