The chart says “not so fast”
XRP spent August ripping 71.8% higher before cooling off with a pretty normal-looking 20% pullback. Now the token is hanging around a support zone between $1.31 and $1.38, which is doing a lot of heavy lifting on the chart.
That area matters because more than 4.8 billion XRP were previously bought there. In trader-speak, that’s the place where a lot of people may be tempted to defend their bags instead of letting price slide through the floor like a banana peel.
ETF money is still showing up
While price has been taking a breather, U.S. spot XRP ETFs keep quietly collecting cash:
- Tuesday’s net inflows: $14.38 million
- Streak length: 11 straight sessions
- Total since launch: $1.68 billion
- Total net assets: $1.44 billion
Franklin Templeton’s XRPZ led the day with $6.63 million, followed by Grayscale’s GXRP with $4.72 million and Canary’s XRPC with $3.03 million. So the market’s basically saying: “We’re buying, but we’re also not in a rush to chase.”
The bull case lives or dies here
Ali Martinez’s technical read is simple: if XRP can close hourly above $1.38, the breakout thesis stays alive and $2 comes back into view. If $1.31 gives way, though, the next cushion is down around $1.24 to $1.28.
That makes this less about moon-shot hype and more about whether the current dip is just a healthy reset or the start of something uglier.
Big picture: the ETF bid is still there, but XRP needs the chart to cooperate. Cash flow is nice; confirmation is nicer.
