Kati 1 is officially live
Soluna Holdings just wrapped the final 14 MW at Project Kati 1, which means the 83 MW site is fully energized. In utility-land, that’s not exactly confetti-and-champagne stuff, but it is the kind of milestone that matters when your whole pitch rests on getting massive power capacity online without tripping over the grid.
ERCOT gives the bigger campus a nod
The bigger headline is that ERCOT has conditionally classified the full 166 MW Kati campus, including the planned Kati 2 AI ex. Translation: Soluna is moving one step closer to having the full campus treated as a legitimate load in Texas’ power ecosystem, which can help support expansion plans.
For investors, this is the sort of update that nudges a project from “nice idea” toward “actual infrastructure.” It doesn’t guarantee revenue tomorrow, but it can improve confidence that the company can keep scaling its green data center strategy for AI and Bitcoin mining.
Why you should care
If you own the stock, these updates matter because they can reduce execution risk. And when a small-cap infrastructure story is built on future capacity, the market tends to reward every real-world milestone like it’s oxygen.
Big picture: Soluna is still in buildout mode, but this looks like another brick in the wall — and for a company like this, bricks are the whole game.
