Another day, another AI sales pitch
Google Cloud and Accenture are launching a Gemini Enterprise Business Group, which is corporate-speak for: let’s get more companies to actually use Google’s AI stuff. The goal is to help businesses adopt Gemini faster, which should make Google Cloud look less like a nice-to-have and more like a serious enterprise platform.
Why investors should care
This isn’t just a logo-sharing exercise. Accenture brings the consultant army, Google brings the model, and together they’re basically trying to turn AI adoption into a repeatable assembly line. If it works, Google gets a cleaner path from “cool tech” to “show me the revenue.”
The bigger picture
Alphabet has been leaning hard into AI across Search, Cloud, and infrastructure, because apparently the company decided “let’s own the whole stack” was a fun hobby. Partnerships like this matter because enterprise customers usually don’t buy AI like they buy snacks — they want hand-holding, integration, and someone else to blame if the rollout goes sideways.
Big picture: if Gemini keeps getting embedded into real business workflows, Google Cloud could become more than the part of Alphabet that politely asks AWS and Azure to notice it.
