The good news is pretty loud
InnovAge Holding Corp. is basically telling investors, “Don’t look at the stock chart, look at the operating machine.” And, annoyingly for the skeptics, the numbers are cooperating. Fiscal 2026 revenue rose 15.9% to $989.7 million, adjusted EBITDA margin widened to 9.6%, and cash generation stayed healthy.
Why investors are paying attention
This isn’t just a story about a company getting bigger. It’s a story about a company getting more efficient while it grows — the corporate equivalent of losing weight while also training for a marathon. Management is now forecasting fiscal 2027 revenue of $1.05 billion to $1.085 billion and adjusted EBITDA of $105 million to $115 million.
Capacity first, shiny new stuff later
The bigger tell is what management is prioritizing. Instead of going full “build it and they will come,” InnovAge says it wants to focus on capacity utilization rather than aggressive new builds. Translation: squeeze more juice out of the current setup before spending like it’s a Black Friday sale.
For investors, that’s the kind of discipline that can keep margins moving the right way — especially after shares already rallied more than 30%.
Big picture: the market may be rewarding the company for doing the boring but valuable stuff well, and sometimes boring is exactly what makes the stock interesting.
