New deal, same AI arms race
Palantir and Nvidia are teaming up to bring what they’re calling sovereign AI to critical supply chains. Translation: less spreadsheet whack-a-mole, more AI trying to spot bottlenecks before they turn into expensive headaches.
The first deployment is happening inside Nvidia’s own operations, which is a nice way of saying the company is using itself as the guinea pig. The setup combines Nvidia’s Nemotron open models with Palantir Foundry and AIP, all grounded in Palantir’s Ontology, with the goal of giving supply chains more visibility and helping teams identify constraints faster.
Why investors should care
This matters because it gives Palantir yet another enterprise AI win to point at when skeptics ask, “Okay, but who’s actually using this stuff?” Every new partnership like this helps build the case that Palantir isn’t just selling futuristic software vibes — it’s selling a platform companies will plug into real operations.
For Nvidia, the move is also on-brand. The chip giant keeps finding ways to be both the arms dealer and the customer, which is a very profitable life strategy if you can pull it off.
Big picture: if AI is the new operating system, Palantir is trying hard to become the plumbing under the floorboards.
