Dell’s AI glow-up
Dell Technologies has gone from “legacy PC guy” to one of the more important picks-and-shovels plays in the AI boom. In fiscal Q2 2027, the company posted record revenue of $47.0 billion and adjusted EPS of $7.04, helped by a jaw-dropping 89% jump in ISG revenue to $31.8 billion as AI server demand kept sprinting.
The boring business got interesting
CSG also put up its strongest commercial growth in more than four years, which is a nice reminder that Dell isn’t just riding one shiny AI wave. The old-school hardware side still matters, and it’s not exactly acting like a sleepy dinosaur right now.
Guidance got the mic drop
Management turned the optimism dial up by raising full-year guidance to $192 billion in revenue and $25.50 in EPS. That’s the kind of move investors love because it says the AI buildout isn’t a one-quarter stunt — Dell is betting the demand keeps showing up like an overenthusiastic group chat.
Big picture
If AI infrastructure is the new gold rush, Dell is selling the shovels, the trucks, and probably the coffee machine in the camp. The stock’s momentum makes sense as long as the server party keeps going.
