Another week, another teaser
Faraday Future’s founder and global CEO YT Jia is back with the company’s weekly investor update, and the message is basically: keep your eyes on Sept. 19. The company is previewing that upcoming event while also trying to show it has more cooking than just car-company vibes.
The robotics side quest
FF is also highlighting its EAI Robotics work, specifically autonomous perception and 3D scanning technology. Translation: it wants investors to think beyond EV drama and imagine a broader AI/robotics story. That’s a tough sell, but it’s at least a recognizable attempt to widen the narrative.
A new adviser for the government lane
The company also added a new senior advisor focused on government procurement. That could matter if FF is trying to sniff out public-sector contracts or partnerships, but right now it reads more like runway-building than revenue-building.
Why investors should care
This isn’t the kind of update that moves the needle on fundamentals by itself. Still, it does show Faraday Future leaning hard into optionality: robots, public-sector business, and an event next week that could serve as the next hype checkpoint.
Big picture: FF is still in “prove it” mode — and investors are being asked to squint at a lot of future possibilities before they see hard numbers.
