Post-separation, the org chart gets a makeover
Flex isn’t just splitting up and hoping for the best. It’s already mapping out who runs what once the separation is done, including naming Amy B. Schwetz as the expected CFO for Flex’s RMS and ITS segments and, after the split, as Flex CFO.
Boards, but make it a reboot
The company also laid out the post-separation board composition, with four new directors set to join. That’s the corporate equivalent of swapping in a new recipe team right before the kitchen opens: a lot of the long-term value depends on whether these people can keep the transition from turning into a bureaucratic soap opera.
Why investors should care
When a company separates, the fine print on leadership and governance matters almost as much as the separation itself. A clean handoff can reduce execution risk, while a messy one can spook investors who are trying to handicap which side of the split gets the better growth story.
Big picture: this is Flex trying to show the market that the post-separation setup isn’t being improvised in the parking lot. It’s already picking the drivers before the car changes shape.
