Meta’s having a pretty decent Wednesday
Meta Platforms got a lift as the market leaned back into mega-cap growth and the Nasdaq kept the party going. Shares were up nearly 2%, and honestly, Wall Street’s mood looked a lot like: “Big tech is back, baby.”
The analyst chorus gets louder
Rosenblatt kept its Buy rating on Meta and slapped on an $886 price target, while Citi stayed bullish too, calling the stock a top pick and pointing to next week’s Connect event as a near-term catalyst. When analysts start lining up like they’re trying to get on the same concert guest list, investors tend to notice.
New hardware, same attention economy
There’s also fresh product chatter. The Information says Meta is planning camera-free smart glasses, code-named Luna, for this fall, with shipments potentially starting in October. If that turns into a real launch, it could give Meta another shot at being the company that wants to live on your face.
Not just a stock-chart story
Meta also rolled out parental supervision tools for Threads across Asia Pacific, letting parents set limits, tweak privacy, and monitor teen usage through Family Center. Meanwhile, the stock still has some technical heat on it, with RSI above 70 — basically the market’s way of saying, “This looks good, but maybe don’t chase it with both feet.”
Big picture: Meta’s rally isn’t just about a strong tape. It’s getting support from analysts, product buzz, and a couple of visible catalysts that could keep investors glued to the story.
