A little less wobbly
Faraday Future is trying to tell Wall Street a very specific story: the balance sheet is getting sturdier. The company said it increased stockholders’ equity by roughly $20 million after the second quarter and believes it regained compliance with Nasdaq’s Equity Standard as of July 31, 2026.
For a company that has spent plenty of time in the penalty box with investors, that matters. Nasdaq compliance issues are the financial version of your roommate being a little too casual about rent — annoying at best, existential at worst.
The robot bit is the plot twist
Faraday Future also said its EAI robot business has logged 552 cumulative yearly sales and shipments, and that the product is now producing positive gross margin. That’s important because it suggests the company is at least moving one slice of the business in the right direction: selling stuff for more than it costs to make.
- 552 units shipped/sold this year
- Positive product gross margin
- Balance sheet improvement of about $20 million
Why investors should care
This is not the same as saying the business is suddenly healthy. But if you’re holding FF stock, compliance progress and improving unit economics are the two phrases you want to hear more than “going concern.” The next question is whether this is a real turn or just another temporary deep breath before the next funding sprint.
Big picture: Faraday Future is trying to buy itself time, credibility, and maybe a little less chaos. In this stock, that counts as progress.
