Salesforce is trying to make Agentforce feel less like a chatbot and more like a co-worker
Salesforce just unveiled Koa, a new AI model built with Nvidia to power Agentforce. Translation: CRM wants its AI agents to do more than answer cute questions and actually handle work without turning into a digital paperweight.
For investors, this matters because Salesforce keeps leaning into the same big story: AI is supposed to turn a mature software giant into a faster-growing one. If Koa helps Agentforce get smarter, stickier, and more useful, that could mean more customer adoption and a better shot at juicing future sales.
Why Nvidia is in the mix
Nvidia isn't just decorating the press release here. The chip king's tech is part of the buildout, which gives the effort more credibility than your average "AI-powered" label slapped on a slide deck.
That said, this is still a partnership announcement, not a revenue print. The market will want to see whether Agentforce actually drives usage, seat expansion, and real dollars — because vibes are nice, but recurring revenue is nicer.
Big picture
Salesforce is basically telling Wall Street: "Yes, we are still a software company, but also please imagine us as an AI platform company." If the product lands, that pitch gets more believable. If it doesn't, it's just another glossy feature launch with a good keynote and a lot of adjectives.
