New ticker, same roller coaster
REX Shares and Tuttle Capital Management have launched the T-REX 2X Long ASST Daily Target ETF, which trades under the ticker ASSX on Cboe. In plain English: it’s a fund designed to give you about 200% of Strive’s daily move, before fees and expenses.
That’s not your grandma’s index fund. It’s more like putting a rocket booster on a shopping cart and hoping the wheels stay on. If ASST jumps, ASSX is built to jump harder. If ASST slides, well... you get the idea.
Why investors should care
This matters because leveraged ETFs can amplify sentiment around a stock without changing the company’s actual business. For ASST holders, it can mean more trading buzz and potentially more volatility. For everyone else, it’s another reminder that Wall Street will package literally anything into a ticker if there’s enough demand.
Big picture
ASSX doesn’t change Strive’s fundamentals, but it can change the trading weather around the name. If you own ASST, this is the kind of product that can make the tape feel a little more caffeinated.
