Another customer, another AI brag
CoreWeave says Harell Data will run its biotech AI platform on CoreWeave Cloud, using NVIDIA A100 and Hopper GPUs for training, fine-tuning, and inference. Translation: more compute demand, more billing, and one more reminder that the AI arms race still runs on rented shovels.
Why investors care
The setup is pretty straightforward. Harell Data’s platform keeps proprietary datasets inside the system while models come to the data, and CoreWeave gets paid per training run. That’s the kind of usage-based revenue investors like to squint at and call “recurring-ish,” especially when the AI compute market is still gobbling up capacity.
UBS says: yes, still bullish
Separately, UBS initiated coverage with a Buy rating and a $120 price target. Analyst Karl Keirstead argued that demand for AI computing remains stubbornly strong and that CoreWeave’s revenue per gigawatt of capacity should keep climbing. He did flag debt and credit risk, which is basically Wall Street’s way of saying, “We love the story, but the balance sheet is doing parkour.”
Big picture
CoreWeave stock was trading around flat on the day, which is classic market behavior for a company that can be both a hot AI beneficiary and a leverage-heavy spreadsheet debate at the same time. The bull case is simple: more customers, more usage, more runway. The bear case is equally simple: the bill for all that growth still exists.
