Another analyst just joined the Nebius fan club
Nebius is back in rally mode after BNP Paribas upgraded the stock and slapped a fresh bull case on the company. The pitch? Nebius could build out to a whopping $22 billion in annual recurring revenue by 2027 — the kind of number that makes even grown-up Wall Street folks sound a little giddy.
For investors, that’s the whole game here: Nebius isn’t being priced like a normal company. It’s being treated like a future AI infrastructure heavyweight, where the market is basically betting on what the business can become, not what it is today.
The catch: the bill gets bigger too
The upgrade wasn’t free love and rainbows. BNP Paribas also flagged that Nebius’ GPU spending could balloon, which is the annoying part of the AI gold rush: everyone wants the shovels, but the shovels are expensive.
That means the story is still a balancing act:
- huge growth potential if demand keeps ripping
- equally huge capital needs to keep the servers humming
- and a stock that can swing hard when analysts tweak their models by a few billion here or there
Why you should care
Nebius has become one of those stocks where the valuation debate matters almost as much as the business itself. If the company can keep stacking customers and capacity fast enough, the market may keep rewarding it like a mini cloud titan. If not, those giant ARR forecasts can start looking more like sci-fi fan fiction.
Big picture: this is still a “show me” story — but Wall Street clearly thinks the plot has legs.
