Jet-set, but make it seasonal
Joby Aviation’s Blade brand is dusting off BLADEone, its enhanced jet service between the New York area and South Florida. The flights are set to run from November 19th, 2026 through May 2nd, 2027, which is basically the air-travel equivalent of a pop-up shop for snowbirds.
Why investors should care
This isn’t a moonshot rocket launch; it’s a reminder that Joby’s Blade business is still monetizing premium travel in the real world. The route links Westchester County Airport with Palm Beach and Miami-area destinations, and the partnership with Aero adds another operator to the mix.
The fine print that matters
- BLADEone is seasonal, so this isn’t a year-round demand test.
- The service is aimed at the high-end crowd that wants speed and convenience more than peanuts and tiny pretzels.
- For Joby, every visible service rollout helps show the brand has commercial traction while the broader eVTOL story keeps inching forward.
Big picture: investors don’t buy Joby for one fancy jet route, but these kinds of launches help prove the company can turn aviation branding into actual revenue and customer usage.
