The ETH piggy bank keeps getting heavier
BitMine Immersion is still doing what BitMine does best: buying Ethereum like there’s a Black Friday sale on gas fees. The company says its ETH pile has now crossed 6 million tokens, or roughly 4.8% of all ETH in circulation, putting it on a collision course with the 5% mark if the weekly buying keeps rolling.
That matters because the company has been funding the binge with at-the-market share sales. In other words, shareholders have been helping pay for the crypto stocking-up spree. If the buying program eventually winds down, that dilution pressure could ease.
Why the stock cares
This isn’t just a treasury story. BitMine says it has staked more than 5.1 million ETH and estimates annualized staking revenue around $358 million. If it stakes the rest of its holdings, that revenue number could climb, and with operating costs looking tiny, a lot of that cash flow could fall straight to the bottom line.
The chart nerds get a moment too
Meanwhile, BMNR has pulled back from its September highs, but the stock has also flashed a golden cross — the kind of technical signal traders treat like a neon “maybe keep watching” sign. Add in the bullish flag chatter and the setup starts to look like a classic crypto-stock tug-of-war: fundamentals on one side, chart vibes on the other.
Big picture: BitMine is trying to turn a giant Ethereum bet into a self-feeding machine. If the company stops buying and starts milking the stake, investors could get a cleaner story — and maybe fewer dilution headaches.
