The headline: growth, but make it complicated
Celsius Holdings spent its Q2 2026 earnings call trying to thread a pretty specific needle: yes, revenue climbed to $818 million, but no, that doesn’t mean every brand is firing on all cylinders. Brand Celsius sales fell 12%, even as the company leaned on Rockstar integration and the rocket-ship growth of Alani Nu to keep the overall story moving in the right direction.
The good stuff is doing the heavy lifting
If you’re looking for the bright neon sign here, it’s Alani Nu. Management said the brand passed $1 billion in retail sales and grew 56%, which is the kind of number that makes a consumer company look less like a single-product bet and more like a mini-portfolio. Celsius also said its combined brands now account for about 20% dollar share in tracked U.S. energy channels — not exactly a rounding error.
The awkward middle: pruning now, innovating later
The company admitted it got a little too aggressive with SKU rationalization on brand Celsius. Translation: they trimmed too hard, then had to go back and rebuild shelf presence. The plan now is to win back retail space, improve supply chain efficiency, and push new innovation in 2027. Because apparently in consumer land, the future always shows up two years from now.
Why investors should care
Margins held at 48%, Celsius bought back another $100 million of stock in the quarter, and it still has $300 million left under authorization. That’s management signaling confidence while the business rebalances itself around multiple growth engines.
Big picture: this isn’t a clean victory lap, but it does look like a company with enough momentum — and enough brands — to keep the energy drink party going.
