Countdown to the numbers
Affirm is officially on the calendar. The company said it will release its first-quarter fiscal 2027 shareholder letter and financial results on November 5, 2026 after the close, with a conference call and webcast set for 2:00 p.m. PT the same day.
That’s not exactly a fireworks announcement, but for investors it matters. Earnings season is basically the financial equivalent of opening your phone bill and hoping the mystery charges are minor. You’re waiting for the numbers that tell you whether Affirm’s growth story is still intact, whether losses are shrinking, and how consumers are holding up in the buy-now-pay-later world.
What to watch when the call drops
When Max Levchin and the team step up to the mic, the market will be looking for the usual suspects:
- GMV and revenue growth: Is usage still expanding, or is the pace cooling?
- Credit performance: Any sign that borrowers are getting shakier?
- Profitability: Is the company getting closer to the “less burn, more bang” phase?
- Outlook: Because forward guidance is the part that can really move AFRM around.
Big picture
This is a scheduling notice, not the main event itself. But it does put a stake in the ground for when investors will get the next real test of Affirm’s momentum — and whether the company can keep convincing Wall Street that BNPL is more than a catchy acronym.
