New deal, new swagger
Nebius Group is having one of those ‘everything is going right at once’ days. BNP Paribas upgraded the stock to Outperform and lifted its price target to $399 from $260, saying the company’s outlook has improved meaningfully. That’s analyst-speak for: the story just got a lot more interesting.
The AI gold rush is still paying Nebius
The bigger plot twist is business momentum. Nebius recently bought Inferize to beef up its Token Factory inference platform, and the team is now helping fold that tech into the company’s production stack. Translation: Nebius is trying to make AI workloads faster, cheaper, and less annoying to run — which is basically catnip in a world where everyone wants more compute yesterday.
And then there’s the capacity game. Nebius signed a binding deal with AIB Data Centers for 50 MW of critical IT capacity at a southeastern U.S. site on an initial 12-year term. In plain English: more room to serve AI customers who keep showing up like it’s Black Friday.
Price hikes? In this economy?
The juiciest detail: Nebius reportedly raised GPU cloud prices by roughly 20% across several NVIDIA models, including the H100, H200, B200 and B300. That’s a pretty loud signal that demand is still outpacing supply, and that Nebius has enough leverage to ask customers to pay up.
- More demand for AI compute
- More infrastructure coming online
- More margin potential if pricing sticks
Why investors care
NBIS was up more than 8% Tuesday and has already ripped nearly 200% in 2026. The stock is now trading like a market favorite instead of a sleepy infrastructure name, and investors are clearly buying the idea that Nebius can keep scaling while scarce GPU supply keeps the pricing environment spicy.
Big picture: when a company can raise prices, expand capacity, and get a Wall Street upgrade in the same week, the market tends to notice.
