New name, new ticker, new vibe
Quince Therapeutics says it’s relaunching as IRulya Therapeutics, and the common stock is set to trade on Nasdaq under the symbol IRLA effective October 12, 2026. That’s usually the corporate equivalent of changing your haircut, wardrobe, and LinkedIn photo all at once.
The management shuffle
The bigger tell here may be the leadership reset. The company says it has named:
- Brigette Roberts, M.D. as CEO
- John Militello, CPA as CFO
- Keith R. as COO
That kind of top-to-bottom shuffle often comes with a strategy pivot, especially when a company is trying to sharpen its focus around a specific development program.
Why investors should care
Quince says the new identity will center on the clinical development of LAM-001, which it describes as targeting a key pathway in pulmonary disease. For investors, that means the story is no longer just about a rebrand — it’s about whether this new team can turn a fresh coat of paint into actual clinical momentum.
Big picture: rebrands don’t move pipelines by themselves, but they do tell you where management thinks the next chapter is headed. And in biotech, the chapter title matters almost as much as the plot.
